Why Become a Hospice Volunteer?
Because even the little things you do can make a big difference in someone’s life.
It’s Easy to Become a Hospice Volunteer
To become a hospice volunteer, all you need is the desire to help others. We treat volunteers as employees. We educate you on hospice and show you the many ways you can help. Once you become a volunteer, any tasks assigned to you are based on how you’d like to help – you’ll never be asked to do anything you’re not comfortable with.

Volunteers are Essential to Hospice Care
OnCare Home Health & Hospice strongly depends on its volunteers for patient support, administrative tasks and fundraising. Volunteers must be 16 years of age for administrative work and 18 years of age to visit patients (unless volunteering with a parent/guardian).
