Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy delivers therapeutic services designed to help resume or enhance the ability to perform activities of daily living – like getting dressed, bathing, walking and eating – all in an effort to increase independence and maintain safety in the home.
Occupational therapy is like physical therapy, but there are key differences. While physical therapy focuses on the ability to move the body, occupational therapy focuses on a patient’s ability to perform daily living activities.
